Correction
On page 30 of Arms Control Today’s January/February 2007 issue, the size of the U.S. chemical weapons stockpile that still needs to be destroyed was incorrectly cited as 28,000 metric tons. The correct figure should have been 18,000 metric tons as of the U.S. declaration of April 2006. As of March 11, the size of the stockpile that still needs to be destroyed is 16,317 metric tons.
