Leanne Quinn

Leanne Quinn was the Program Coordinator for the Chemical Weapons Convention Coalition (CWCC) at the Arms Control Association from April 2021 to December 2022, where she played a leading role in building and growing the coalition through outreach, website maintenance, research, and webinar/workshop planning. During her tenure in this role, the CWCC was awarded the 2022 Hague Award by the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.

Prior to joining the Arms Control Association staff full time, Leanne served as the communications/research intern at the ACA during the summer of 2019. In this role, she managed the ACA's social media content, conducted research on Chinese arms control, and created a series of short videos on the history of nuclear testing.

Additionally, she worked for the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, China, while studying abroad at Fudan University.

Leanne has a BA in International Relations and Chinese Language & Literature from Boston University, and graduated with honors after a successful defense of her senior thesis on U.S. space arms control.
